Named and inspired by Corfu’s history as a crossroad for commerce in different periods when the island was ruled by...
This wonderful bougainvillea-clad villa boasts an unbeatable location right on the seashore.
It has 180-degree views, to the town and harbour to the south, to the intriguing hills of Albania in the distance to the east. Inside offers a luxury refuge , as does the pool which is right on the edge of the pebble beach.
The villa enjoys a history that’s as impressive as its location, being the first house to be built in the Imerolia area more than a century ago. Overlooking the beach, the poolside terrace is home to a pretty gazebo, a barbecue area and a large shaded terrace. At the same level as the gazebo is a spacious semi-detached apartment with its own separate entrance, joined to the rest of the house via an outside staircase and home to a twin bedroom, a shower room and an open-plan lounge/diner and kitchen. The main house is arranged on two floors with the ground floor featuring a large lounge opening onto a shaded veranda facing the shingle beach, a well-equipped kitchen adjoining a dining area and a bathroom. Two more bedrooms and another shower room are upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase.
Villa sleeps 6 people in total , 4 in the main house and 2 in the one bedroom.
Cleaning 3 times per week
Imerolia is a small, seaside settlement, at a distance of a few hundred meters from the large resort, on the north-eastern part of the island. In Imerolia, above the homonymous , there are numerous touristy lodgings, mainly rentable rooms which have direct access to the beach. In Kassiopi you will find restaurants, bars and many kinds of shops.
Imerolia beach can easily be reached by car or on foot. From Kassiopi a relaxed stroll will take approximately 10 minutes . Likewise, it is possible to walk round the ruins of the Byzantine castle that used to protect the town and its port ,the beach at Bataria and Pipitos which will take approximately half an hour , enjoying stunning views and perfect photo opportunities along the way.
Imerolia bay is a beautiful, sweeping bay located between Kalamionas beach in Kassiopi and the sandy beach Kalamaki. Backed by just a few villas and one fishing taverna, this beach is a favourite with locals and tourists alike as it tends to be very quiet with crystal clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. This beach is stoney and shingly and sunbeds and parasols can be hired for a small fee.
