Villa Uranus

This exclusive property is in walking distance from the village of Kalami and White House where Lawrence and Gerald Durrell both lived in the 1930’s .

The villa has been cleverly designed to capitalise on its spectacular location: expect immaculate views across three floors, verandas where you can enjoy mealtimes and sunset viewing. Villa Uranus also boasts an elevator that connects all three floors together, as well as providing access to anyone with wheelchair specifications.On the ground floor, two ensuite bedrooms have access to a large canopy veranda, in addition to a fully equipped modern gym. The middle floor has three ensuite bedrooms; two double bedrooms and a master bedroom with a double bed, an open plan bathroom with a free standing bath, as well as access to a large balcony. There is a separate entrance on this level leading to the middle floor outdoor areas and the pool.

The top floor consists of a fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a beautiful veranda that has an outdoor bbq area, a large dining table that comfortably seats twelve guests. It’s easy to spend the whole day outside at Villa Uranus: with plenty of options on where to soak up the sun, lounge in the shade, or cool off in your private pool before heading to the dining terrace for an al fresco dinner.

Kalami, Corfu

Kalami is a small, picturesque, seaside village built around a bay and above the homonymous, enchanting beach.

Kalami is mostly known for the house of the English writer Lawrence Durrell, who lived there during the decade of the 30s. The house is located near the sea and today it has been converted to a guest house. It is the so-called White House restaurant.

The location on which Kalami is, is truly idyllic. The vegetation is vast and it reaches until the sea. Kalami is suitable for those who desire calm, relaxing vacations in nature, away from crowds and intense, nocturnal entertainment.
