The Suite

Named and inspired by Corfu’s history as a crossroad for commerce in different periods when the island was ruled by Venetians, French, British and as a strategic landmark in the Ionian Sea, between Europe and the East.

Our pretty “Merchant” suite is on the first floor of a wonderful, traditional 19th century Venetian building moments away from the Liston. With original features blended with stylish contemporary finishes, the suite is a delightful addition to our Corfu Old Town rooms. Bold, hand-picked fabrics enhance the room and work to create a beautifully elegant whole. “Coco-Mat” beds, crisp linens, pillows to suit all tastes and the full complement of technology means that the “Merchant” suite offers an unbeatable level of design, comfort and elegance. The suite has a small fridge, coffee machine and natural “Apivita” products in the bathroom. Delicious breakfasts served in one of the Liston cafés on your doorstep.

Faliraki, one of the oldest public bathing spots, is minutes away and is a fantastic place to swim or have a drink.

The “Merchant” suite can also be taken in conjunction with the adjoining “Lear” suite to create a self-contained 2 bedroom suite

The distinctive old town of Corfu, featuring a well-preserved historical center, constitutes the perfect place for exploring the local history and the great architecture of Corfu all year round. Every visitor could experience the Corfu town lifestyle, wandering among the famous narrow streets, the so-called kadounia in the area called “Campiello” or the small souvenir shops and markets in the several squares. Can also enjoy relaxation and savour the Greek tastes at local restaurants and coffee shops or experience the Corfiot nightlife.
